Wong Kar-Wai’s beautiful ode to the Hong Kong of the 60’s, and its star-crossed lovers turned 20 in the UK earlier this year. I decided to re-work a previously published film essay (on a now defunct site) specially for Bobblehaus, for which I’m super grateful. In the Mood for Love is a cinematic masterpiece, and one that still haunts me to this day.

Amongst my latest dispatches for Bobblehaus, behold: a profile on Jiwon Choi, possibly my favourite jewellery designer from South Korea whose creations have been spotted on the likes of Lizzo (yes! Lizzo!). Her designs are snazzy, fun, nonsensical, coy, very tongue-in-cheek. Check out her store for a taste of the Y2K sensibility we love and crave for today.
